Elizabeth began her career as a Behaviour Support Teacher in schools. After 14 years of counseling teachers and students in those roles she then felt there was more she could do to help better improve others’ lives, so she studied Psychology. Elizabeth has worked with children and adults who benefit from psychological and/or therapeutic intervention and finds it wonderful to see them smile, enjoy life and overcome hurdles on their pathway to wellness and recovery.
Elizabeth enjoys being able to help people realise their goals and find ways of relieving their suffering and distress by developing new ways of thinking and behaving to achieve happiness and fulfillment. Her special interests include CBT and Mindfulness for Depression, Anxiety and Trauma, working with Autism and Behaviour Support, and Geriatric Psychology.
