ADHD Cognitive Assessment, Diagnosis and Report

Could an ADHD assessment assist your child?

An ADHD cognitive  assessment provides a clear understanding of how a young person thinks, learns, and manages attention, memory, and emotions. It helps identify strengths as well as areas of difficulty (such as attention, executive functioning, or learning challenges), and offers practical, tailored strategies to support success at school and in daily life. The final report can also assist in accessing school adjustments, learning support, and appropriate interventions.

At Tyack Health, our Psychologist, Julian Lopez, has a Masters degree in Neuropsychology and is experienced in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD.  We are offering a formal assessment and report for adolescents aged 11 upwards.  The assessment typically involves 4 sessions, including an initial clinical interview, completion of questionnaires by parents and teachers, and structured cognitive testing. Following this, a comprehensive report is provided with clear explanations, diagnosis (if applicable), and personalised recommendations.
