Alanna loves supporting children and their families to achieve goals that are important to them. Her greatest joy, as a speech pathologist, is seeing the wonder on a child's face when they learn to make a new sound, start using words for the first time or grow in confidence with their communication growth. Alanna studied speech pathology at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She has worked across health, education, community and private clinics.
Alanna provides a supportive and engaging environment for her clients, believing therapy should be playful and practical. She has experience working with various aspects of communication development, including literacy, stuttering, speech errors, late talkers, play development, listening skills, language and functional communication.
