Rachel has many years experience working with children, young people, adults and their families. Rachel has worked across diverse settings including community organisations and public mental health. She has experience treating complex mental and developmental concerns. Her practice framework encompasses a belief in human dignity and empowering clients through a strong therapeutic alliance.
Some of the mental health concerns Rachel has a strong background in include anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, and self-harm, behavioural issues, regulation problems and attachment/relationship difficulties. Rachel utilises an range of treatment modalities, some of these include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused/Brief Intervention and Attachment/Family therapy.
