Kylie Walters

Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2009, Kylie has worked with children and adolescents in the education setting at Brisbane Catholic Education as well as managed a mixed paediatric and adult caseload within various Queensland Health settings.

Kylie delivers contemporary and evidence based services to children and adolescents in the areas of auditory processing, speech, language, literacy, social skills, fluency (stuttering), voice and feeding. Kylie is an approved Early Intervention Provider for the federally funded ‘Helping Children with Autism’ program. Kylie is also on-line with HICAPS so that private health fund rebates can be claimed at the Practice immediately.

Having worked in a range of Queensland Health hospitals and community settings, Kylie has the knowledge and skills base to competently provide speech pathology services to adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties. In addition, Kylie is a registered health practitioner with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
