Test Results

We require you to phone to check your test results.   Pathology results are usually available three days after your tests have been performed.  Pap Smear results can take up to ten days.  If you have not received communication within a week for pathology results or two weeks for Pap Smears please be sure to phone the nurse between 1pm – 2pm weekdays or 9am – 12pm Saturdays so that any additional action needed can be addressed. Your doctor may need to see you to explain your result findings or to arrange appropriate follow-up. 
 
Note: While we make every effort to contact you if your results are abnormal, this is sometimes difficult if people move, change phone numbers or are away from home for extended periods.
