
Creating Confidence for Life is an evidence-based psychology program run by Clinical Psychologist, Georgia Watkins-Allen. The program assists young people aged 8 to 16 years to develop skills to manage and cope with feelings and situations that occur in everyday life. The cognitive-behavioural program involves 10 sessions run in pairs or small groups with people of a similar age. Workbooks used during the program are yours to keep and refer to in the future.
Creating Confidence for Life teaches young people to cope with anxiety more effectively and build emotional resilience, problem-solving abilities and self-confidence.
Class Times
Classes are generally scheduled after school and can be held once a week for consecutive weeks or spaced apart depending on needs and availability. The program can be run in pairs or small groups.
Bookings
A referral is not required to make a booking unless you intend to claim Medicare rebates.Before enrolling in the program, an initial appointment with one of our psychologists is required to determine the suitability of the program and the best course of treatment.
